客官，你到底在说什么啊！

如果说雅思阅读是以生词替换见长的“换词大师”，那么托福阅读就是逻辑线索玩死人的“逻辑大师”，其中婉转曲折的论述和神秘难测的线索让很多考生边读边在内心咆哮：“客官您到底在说什么啊！！！”

       我们的写作老师一直强调，写作的主体段一定要先列出论点，再用论据支持。追本溯源，其实我们的托福阅读说到底也是牛人写出的学术文章，它虽然不像我们自己写出来的应试文章结构那么死板，但“论据”支撑“论点”这种主要的行文方式是一样的。因此，神秘难解的论点和曲曲折折的论点无非就是要互相验证，说明作者的论述有多么的靠谱。

      比如TPO-30中的一道例题：
      Play also stimulates the development of the muscle tissues themselves and may provide the opportunities to practice those movements needed for survival. Prey species, like young deer or goats, for example, typically play by performing sudden flight movements and turns, whereas predator species, such as cats, practice stalking, pouncing, and biting.
According to paragraph 5, why might play behavior of prey species be different from those of predator species?
     A. Unlike predator species, prey species use play to prevent inappropriate social behaviors, such as biting.
     B. Some prey species are physically incapable of certain types of predator movements.
     C. The survival of each species type is linked to particular sets of muscular movements.
D. Predator species have more opportunities to practice play behaviors than prey species.

  题目问“why might play behavior of prey species be different from those of predator species?（猎手与猎物之间在玩上的区别）”，很多同学用“prey”和“predator”做定位词，致死也没想明白这两句话跟正确答案“C. The survival of each species type is linked to particular sets of muscular movements.”有什么关系。但如果大家换个角度，从“论点支持论据“的角度考虑问题，就会发现，后面有关”猎手“与”猎物“的论述，无疑是为了支持论点“Play also stimulates the development of the muscle tissues themselves and may provide the opportunities to practice those movements needed for survival.（玩会刺激肌肉组织自身发育，同时提供机会练习生存需要的动作）”，同意转换选出正确答案“C. The survival of each species type is linked to particular sets of muscular movements.（不同物种要生存需要不同肌肉组织做出动作）”。
